The Chatham Maroons have swept the St. Thomas Stars in their first round playoff series, following a 5-1 victory in Game 4 on Tuesday.
Noah Bushnell drew first blood for the Maroons with a goal 7:01 into the game, followed by Nolan VandenBoorn who scored to give Chatham a 2-0 lead going into the second period.
Kevin Gursoy scored two back-to-back goals in the second frame to push Chatham further ahead of the Stars 4-0.
St. Thomas made it on the board with a goal early in third, but Gursoy scored again in the final 20 seconds to complete a hat trick and ensure Chatham's win.

"I thought we were pretty solid overall," says head coach Ron Horvat. "There was a few times we got pinched in our end a little bit, but give them credit, this is the game they had to win."
Maroons goaltender Brendan Johnston made 50 saves out of 51 shots on net.
The Maroons will now move on to the semi-final playoffs. The schedule has yet to be announced.
