A 32-year-old man is facing charges in connection with an armed robbery at a variety store in Chatham.
Police say a man was arrested in Hamilton around 7pm Monday night.
He's accused of walking into Charlie's Variety Store on Park Ave. with a weapon and demanding cash from the employee. There was a physical altercation between the two, which resulted in a cut to the employee's arm.
The accused is charged with wearing a disguise with intent, possession of a weapon, and robbery.
He was taken into police custody, pending a bail hearing.
