Chatham-Kent police are releasing more details about a pair of robberies that took place at pharmacies in Bothwell and Thamesville.
Police say a masked man walked into the Bothwell Pharmacy at around 10:30am Wednesday morning, told the employees he had a gun and demanded that they hand over some prescription drugs.
The employees didn't hand anything over, though, at which point the man fled the scene in a car with two other men waiting outside for him.
Officers say at around 11am, the three men made a stop at the Thamesville Pharmacy and made the same demands. They left the scene there with an undisclosed quantity of drugs.
Police were tipped off about both incidents and were able to track down a vehicle that fit the description travelling at a high rate of speed on Baseline Rd.
The vehicle later stopped on Dawn Mills Rd. and police were able to arrest two of the three men, but one of them escaped on foot.
A 20-year-old Harwich man and a 24-year-old Blenheim man are both charged with two counts of robbery in connection with the incidents.
Police have also identified a third suspect and have issued a warrant for his arrest.
