'Tree of Life' Supports End-Of-Life Care

The Chatham-Kent Hospice Foundation is on the receiving end of just over $20,000 from Shoppers Drug Mart's "Tree of Life" campaign.

It's thanks to donations made by customers and staff at stores across Chatham-Kent.

Officials with the Hospice Foundation say the money will go towards supporting ongoing operational needs.

"This donation is proof that small change can add up to make a big difference," said Chair John Lawrence, in a news release emailed to media. "Donations such as this help us continue to provide compassionate end-of-life care to families from across Chatham-Kent."
