River Town Saints is set to headline Dresden Kinstock on Saturday, July 15th at Kinsmen Park.
Tickets are only $25 if purchased before June 1st, after that the price goes up to $35. This year the concert is also expanding to a two-day event.
"We were pushing towards one night of country and one night of rock," says Chairman Darren Wills. "We've kinda been involved with a few other festivals in the area, and just seeing how country seems to be the biggest growing genre in the last few years, we decided to go all country."
The 4th annual event will also feature Sarnia native Eric Ethridge, who recently won the Rising Star Award at the Canadian Country Music Awards, Buck Twenty from Windsor-Essex, Dresden's own Jacklyn Wills, Round House, and Dirt Country.
Sarah Smith and The Mandy Jo Project will perform on Friday, July 14. All of the acts are from Ontario, something Wills says they were trying to do.
"We are hoping to break the 1,500 mark for attendance, " says Willis. "Last year we came in at around 1,200." Canadian rock band Sloan headlined last summer's show.
