Environment Canada is predicting a mix of precipitation coming to Southwestern Ontario.
A special weather statement is in effect for Windsor-Essex, Chatham-Kent, Sarnia-Lambton and London-Middlesex as a large weather system moves from the US.
Meteorologists expect it to bring snow to Southern Ontario Friday night, potentially changing to rain later Saturday. Environment Canada officials add other models indicate the snow could persist throughout Saturday.
Poor travel conditions are a possibility Friday evening through to Saturday.
