Provincial police say on Tuesday around 6pm, an eastbound tractor trailer hit the guardrail while it was driving through the construction zone near Communication Rd.
The driver wasn't hurt as a result of the crash, but it still caused significant damage to the vehicle and to the guardrail.
The eastbound lane of the highway was closed for about six hours for clean-up.
