Large-Scale Theft In Thamesville

Chatham-Kent police say $100,000 worth of construction equipment has been taken from a business in Thamesville.

Officials allege sometime overnight Saturday, unknown suspects broke into the business on Industrial Rd.

They rounded up a long list of tools, including three chain saws, two quick-cut saws, an air compressor and a welder. They also removed a set of tires from a vehicle at the site. The suspects left in two stolen pickup trucks. They also got away with a dump trailer and a red Honda four-wheeler.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Chatham-Kent police or Crime Stoppers at 519-351-8477.
