Tilbury Dog-Fighting Case Back In September

Three people accused in a Tilbury dog-fighting ring continue to move through the court system.

John Robert, Kim Robert, and Michael Gagnon face over 90 combined animal cruelty charges. This after more than 40 dogs were seized from a Morris Line home in October. Their matters were briefly addressed in a Chatham courtroom Tuesday.

A fourth suspect from Kent Bridge is being tried separately.

The pit bull-type dogs are under the care of the OSPCA. The group's desire to euthanize the dogs has been challenged by animal shelter "Dog Tales," located near Toronto.

The three will appear in court next on September 21.
