The London Lightning are going to the NBLC championship series after defeating the Windsor Express 107-88 in Game 6 on Friday.
Akeem Scott led Lightning scorers with 25 points while Akeem Wright had 21 points to go along with seven assists and eight rebounds.
Brandon Robinson had a game high 33 points for Windsor, while Tony Bennett put up 15 points and two rebounds.
“I’m really happy for the guys, they’ve worked very, very hard to get to this point. We’ve had a lot of ups and downs with a lot of challenges,” says coach Kyle Julius. "Every last guy contributed to this win and I think this is special for the organization because there’s so many people invested in this team. To be able to take a trip to the finals together, playing some of our best basketball of the year is exciting.”
London will face Halifax in the final series.
