Matthew Tkachuk led the Knights to a 6-1 victory over the Niagara IceDogs on Saturday, giving London a 2-0 lead in the OHL Championship Series.
Both teams scored once in the first period tie to things up, but London was able to add three unanswered goals in the second to take the lead. The Knights scored a final two goals in the third to cap off their win.
Tkachuk scored a hat-trick for London, while Owen MacDonald, Victor Mete and Christian Dvorak all had one goal.
The two teams travel to St. Catharines on Monday for Game 3. Puck drop is at 7pm.
