The London Knights scored a 7-4 win over the Erie Otters in Game 1 of the OHL Western Conference Championship series.
On Wednesday, the Knights took a big 4-1 lead in the first period, and remained ahead 5-3 at the end of the second. Both teams battled it out in the final frame, but London scored another two goals, over one from Erie, to earn the win.
Matthew Tkachuk led the Knights with a hat-trick, while Christian Dvorak scored two goals. Mitchell Marner and Olli Juolevi had one goal each as well.
The Knights and the Otters return to the ice for Game 2 on Sunday at 7pm.
