A Grade 5-6 class in a Chatham school took part in the official launch of the online tool for teachers and students to compare ideas and work with their counterparts in other areas.
The TVO project TeachOntario is a way for them to connect over the internet. Our Lady of Fatima teacher Dan Rolo has been using it for some time.
"It allows you to post the things that you are doing in your classroom, ask questions of other educators," he says. "It is an on line blogging system so it allows you to share your learning and learn from others."
The event included the class at Our Lady of Fatima linking with an elementary school in Oakville where Education Minister Liz Sandals conducted the official launch.
