Chatham-Kent police are probing a daylight stabbing that landed one man in hospital. Officers were called to a Lorne Ave. home around 1:45pm on Sunday afternoon for what is being described as an assault. Police found a man suffering non-life threatening stab wounds. He was taken to hospital and is now recovering. A 27-year-old man faces a slew of charges in connection to the stabbing, including two counts of assault with a weapon. He has been released from police custody and will appear in court on April 12. No names have been released.
