St. Paddy's Day Celebrations

Bars and restaurants across Chatham-Kent are turning various shades of green to celebrate St. Patrick's Day.

The Queens Head pub in Tilbury is celebrating its first St. Paddy's by changing up the menu to offer an array of Irish-themed dishes made with local ingredients.

"The Irish stew is with lamb from a farm just outside of Tilbury in Essex County," says chef Morgan Lawrence. "We're also using local turnips and heirloom carrots in the stew -- and the steak and Guinness pie is made with Ontario corn-fed beef."

Lawrence says they'll also have some live entertainment and of course, green beer.
