Chatham-Kent police have arrested a man who they allege broke into a pharmacy overnight and then attempted to get back in Wednesday morning.
They say the same pharmacy was broken into on March 6.
Police say someone broke the front door of Richmond Pharmacy around 2:30am and took an unknown quantity of prescription medication. Surveillance video provided a description of the suspect.
A short time before that someone had tried but failed to break into another pharmacy.
Then around 7:30am the alarm at Richmond Pharmacy went off again, and there was evidence of another unsuccessful break-in attempt.
Officers answering the alarm found a person in the area matching the suspect from the surveillance video.
A 36-year-old man of no fixed address is charged with three counts of break and enter and three counts of breach of probation.
He was held in custody for a bail hearing.
