National Airlines is seeing a positive response to its new service from Windsor to Orlando.
The company is already starting to see sold out flights.
"We normally see a booking curve that takes anywhere from eight to nine months to build up to this level. We're already ahead of that," says National Airlines President Edward Davidson.
The airline started flying to Orlando from YQG last week and will have service twice a week.
"I think there has been quite a bit of demand for a long time asking for this type of service and they're so happy to have it that they're booking in large quantities," says Davidson.
If interest and bookings continue this way Davidson says the airport could see more flights to south Florida in the near future.
Meanwhile, the maiden Air Transat flight from Windsor to Punta Cana, Dominican Republic takes off this morning. That service will be offered once a week.
