Jr. Hockey Tonight

There is no shortage of Jr. hockey on tonight across the region.

In Great Lakes Jr. C action, the Lakeshore Canadiens kick things off by hosting the Mooretown Flags at 7:05pm at the Atlas Tube Centre. They've met twice so far this season with Mooretown winning both games in OT.

The Wheatley Omstead Sharks will follow that up by visiting the Dresden Kings at 7:30pm. These teams have met four times so far this season, splitting the season series with two wins apiece.

Also at 7:30pm, the first-place Essex 73s are in Alvinston taking on the Flyers. Essex will look to extend its current win streak to seven games against a Flyers team that has lost seven of its last eight.

At the Jr. B level, the LaSalle Vipers are in St. Thomas at 7:30pm. The Stars have won nine of their last ten games while Vipers are coming off a loss against Sarnia.

Meantime, the Leamington Flyers are heading out to St. Marys to face the Lincolns at 7:30pm. The Flyers only have two losses since the beginning of November while the Lincolns only have three wins over that same period and have lost four straight.

In Jr. A hockey, the Kingsville Kings look to keep dominating the league as they host North York at 8pm. The Kings only have one loss so far this season and they beat North York 10-0 the last time the two teams met.

And in the OHL, the Windsor Spitfires will try to break out of a five-game losing skid as they head to Sarnia to take on the Sting at 7:05pm.
