A Chatham man faces a handful of charges after police say he led them on a high-speed chase with a stolen vehicle.
Officers spotted the vehicle on Lacroix St., just before 11am, back on December 2nd. Police say the driver failed to stop and began driving in an erratic manner, nearly hitting an on-coming cruiser, prompting police to call off the pursuit.
Investigators were later able to identify the suspect driver and arrested the 26-year-old on Friday.
The suspect has been charged with flight from police, dangerous operation of a motor vehicle, and theft over $5,000. He's being held pending a bail hearing.
