Murder Suspect Prepares For Prelim Hearing

Counsel for Chatham-Kent's 1987 murder suspect are hoping to land a preliminary hearing next week.

In what was supposed to be an appearance by Harwich Township's George Jarvis, neither he or his lawyer Ken Marley were in court Friday.

Instead Marley has asked a preliminary hearing date be determined during another appearance on Friday, November 27.

Jarvis faces murder charges in connection with the death of his wife back in 1987. He was arrested in August of this year, and released on bail on October 5.
