Chatham's Sunrise Rotary Club is launching a campaign aimed at protecting the local water supply.
Chair of Clean Water For Living John Lawrence will soon be speaking at Rotary Clubs along the Thames River watershed with one goal in mind.
"Everyone, whether its in their work or their homes, will think about things that they can do which help to conserve and protect the water, as opposed to abusing it," hopes Lawrence.
He encourages residents to be mindful that Chatham's water comes from Lake Erie, and that the local lakes and rivers are major economic drivers for the area.
