The Chatham Maroons will have some new help on the blueline as they head to St. Marys to face the Lincolns.
Defenceman Cory Bussing, who started this season with the Kirkland Lake Gold Miners in the Northern Ontario Junior Hockey League, will suit up for his second game with the Maroons.
Head Coach Tyler Roeszler has high hopes for him.
"He played on Sunday and I liked what I saw from him," says Roeszler. "We'll continue to work just to get him up to speed with stuff like systems and a different way we want to play, but I think he'll help big-time down the stretch."
Puck drop for tonight's game is set for 7:30pm in St. Marys.
Meanwhile, there are a number of other Jr. hockey teams hitting the ice as well.
At the Jr. C level, the Wheatley Omstead Sharks are on the road visiting the Canadiens in Lakeshore at 7:05pm, the Integrity Amherstburg Admirals are in Dresden facing the Kings at 7:30pm, and the Blenheim Blades are in Alvinston taking on the Flyers at 7:30pm.
