Children's Treatment Centre Hires New Executive Director

The Children's Treatment Centre Foundation of Chatham-Kent has appointed a new executive director.

It was announced on Friday that Mike Genge would fill the role.

Foundation Chair Michael Grail says the foundation is excited to have him aboard.

"I think first and foremost [Genge] is a fundraiser, but the way he does it is through stewardship," says Grail. "He believes in really creating a relationship with our donors."

Genge has 22 years of direct fundraising experience, working on various local fundraising boards such as the CK Women s Centre, the CKHA Hospital Foundation, and the CK Hospice. He has raised over $30-million in Chatham-Kent to date.

Genge will replace former executive director Art Stirling who left the position in June after six years with the foundation.
