After weeks of political wrangling the full text of the controversial Trans Pacific Partnership has been released, but not by Canada.
In an innocuous post on the New Zealand Foreign Affairs and Trade website, the entire text of the Trans Pacific Partnership was posted.
Portions specifically pertaining to Canada are posted below.
The text lays out the details on how tariffs will be reduced and eventually eliminated on everything from chicken to dairy products to motor vehicles.
A specific appendix to the agreement lays out rules allowing the free flow of vehicles between Canada and Japan. It shows the 6.1% tariff on vehicle imports between the two countries will be eliminated in five years.
It also allows tonnes of milk, cheese, and milk poweder into Canada.
The details of the agreement became a hot topic during the federal election, which saw the Liberals unseat the Conservatives.
