A Wallaceburg woman, who was the victim of a vicious assault, has been released from hospital.
Chatham-Kent police say the 31-year-old was attacked in her Elgin St. home around 1:45am Monday.
Her injuries were so severe that she had to be airlifted to London.
Police are still looking for the suspects responsible for the brutal attack, but believe it's an isolated incident and aren't concerned for the safety of the general public.
