Suspected Thief Still At Large

Chatham-Kent police are releasing the picture of a suspected thief in the hopes that someone from the public can help them track him down.

Police say the man they are looking for is accused of stealing a fuel tank that someone left behind at a convenience store on Victoria St. in Thamesville Saturday afternoon.

Officers have been reviewing the video surveillance and have released a picture of the suspect, who is described as a white man, approximately 6' tall.

Police say he was wearing white running shoes, blue work pants, a blue and green plaid jacket and a baseball cap at the time of the theft and left the area in a red Ford F150 pick-up truck.

Anyone with information is asked to contact police or Crime Stoppers.
