Another Race Car Project For JMSS

A technology class at John McGregor Secondary School has begun turning a donated vehicle into a race car to compete at Delaware Speedway next year.

The program is so popular that students not in the class volunteer to help on spares and lunch breaks .

Former student Roper Beaumont who worked on the car they built last year came back to encourage the students.

"I'd say get out here it's a great opportunity to learn, it's also a lot of fun," he says. "You also get to see a lot of changes and get to work with a lot of cool people."

Course instructor James Stonehouse says some of students like working on the project so much, he has to remind them when it is time for them to leave.
