Locals Featured In Exhibition Game

Local talent will be on display in Chatham when the Western Mustangs and the Windsor Lancer's women's volleyball teams face off.

The two teams are playing an exhibition game at 7pm tonight at the Thames Campus HealthPlex.

"Melissa Bartlett, a Chatham native, is the head coach at Western, and her dad Randy actually is an assistant coach," says Chatham's Jim Smyth, who is an assistant coach for Windsor. "A lot of local people here helped put this together to get it in Chatham. It's nice for both clubs to get a game, but I think it's more nice for the community."

Maddie Hiltz, who attended CKSS, now plays for Western, while Melissa Smyth who plays for Windsor, went to McGregor.

Admission is just $2, and the proceeds will go to Outreach for Hunger.
