The Ontario Hockey Association (OHA) is staying tight lipped about a comment that's earned a Chatham Maroon a minimum seven game suspension.
Forward Mark Fratarcangelli received the suspension for comments made during Sunday's 5-3 win over Leamington.
A director with the OHA, Larry Keenan, says they have a zero tolerance policy when it comes to derogatory remarks, but wouldn't specify what was said. Keenan says the league will make a decision by the end of the week just how many games Fratarcangelli will miss.
Fratarcangelli was assessed a discriminatory slur gross misconduct penalty during the second period of Sunday's victory.
