Police were called to the store shortly after 10am yesterday after a man put a GPS unit and two drills, with a total value of $300, in a backpack.

Security stopped the man after he left the store and contacted police. Upon searching the suspect police also found a small plastic baggie with crystal meth in his pocket.

The 36-year-old, of no fixed address, is charged with theft under $5,000, property obtained by crime under $5,000, and drug possession. He was held pending a bail hearing.
