Good Dialogue At C-K Table

The organizers of C-K Table like the conversations about food several weekend events generated and hope they continue as different formats are developed in future.

Cofounder Paul Spence says for the movement to be successful people have to do more than just grab something to eat.

"A lot more dialogue a lot more engagement a lot of the chefs and I don't want to call them vendors but the farmers, Bayside, Early Acres all felt there was more engagement, more discussion around local food," he says. "It's obviously structuring the event so that there's just not a feel good message but there is actually a dialogue and positive outcomes from it and doing different formats and different settings."

He is hoping for more community engagement at the final event of the year a craft beer festival in November

He also says ideas around what worked well will be incorporated into events for next year.
