Heat Warning Continues, Relief Coming

A heat warning continues for Windsor-Essex and Chatham-Kent, but not for much longer.

The wave of extreme heat began Saturday with temperatures at or above of 30 C (86 F). Factoring in the humidity it felt like 40 C (104 F) and warmer at times.

As of Wednesday, Environment Canada says we can expect a cold front to move in, putting an end to the hot and humid weather.

Tonight and tomorrow night temperatures will drop to around 20 C (68 F).
