Dogs Take Over Tecumseh Park

A brand new event takes over Tecumseh Park in Downtown Chatham this weekend.

Dog Lover's Days is put on by the CK Animal Rescue and the Downtown Chatham BIA.

"There's a doggie fun zone, which is an enclosed in area where you can let your dog off-leash," says organizer Lynn Tourangeau. "A pamper zone where they can get all pampered, and get their nails (done), and brushed and look beautiful for the weekend, and an agility lure course."

There will also be a doggie photo booth, and a best-dressed dog contest on Saturday at 2pm. The cost is $5, and all money raised will go support the CK Animal Rescue.

Dog Lover's Days runs from 10am-5pm both Saturday and Sunday.
