A Windsor woman has been charged in connection to the death of her roommate after police say she injected him with a drug.

On Monday just before noon police responded to the 200-block of Pratt Place. EMS found a deceased male inside.

Police say Dana St. Louis found her 51-year-old roommate unresponsive before calling 911.

On Tuesday police arrested the 44-year-old after learning she had allegedly injected the victim with an unknown drug before going to bed.

After executing a search warrant police found several syringes inside.

Toxicological samples were submitted to a lab in Toronto.
