Chatham-Kent's Travis Konecny's now working hard in preparation for Philadelphia Flyers training camp, now that development camp has wrapped up.
The week-long event gave the Flyers' young talent a small sample of life in the NHL, and Konecny feels like he did well. "There was a lot of skill stuff, a lot of development (exercises), and working on little things. There was a lot of individual stuff though, so you're not comparing yourself to other players, it's all about developing and getting ready for summer time. Things you can do at the gym -- they give you tips for that."
The 24th overall pick in this year's NHL Draft says it really sank in for him that he could be playing in the National Hockey League when he first saw his jersey hanging in the Philadelphia locker room.
Training camp begins in September.
