Chatham-Kent OPP got the call just after 7am yesterday reported by a caller near Kent Bridge Rd.
Police tracked him down and charged the 37-year-old man for performing an indecent act in a public place.
He also faces two additional counts for separate incidents on Hwy. 401.
Alan Smith will begin his new role with the municipality on July 20.
