Youth Festival Showcases Summer Activities (GALLERY)

Around 5,000 people attended the free event, which was held on Saturday at Tecumseh Park in Chatham.

Kelly Bachus with CK Recreation says the festival is a great opportunity for families to see what activities are available for their kids during the summer months.

"This year we've had the most vendors we've had in quite some time... As well as 13 different inflatables for kids to come and have a great time," she says.

Local organizations were set up at the festival to showcase their summer activities with attending families. The event also featured bouncing inflatables, face painters and aerial acrobatics.
