No Breaking 119 Year Record

It looks like the record high from 1896 is going to stand.

Warmer than normal temperatures are hitting the region this weekend with Environment Canada meteorologists suggesting the record of 30.6 C (87 F) for May 8 set for Windsor-Essex and Chatham-Kent back in 1896 may be broken.

The high for Friday hit 29 C (84 F).

The high for Saturday is 30 C (86 F) while on Sunday temperatures are expected to hit 22 C (72 F).
