A 19-year-old Blenheim woman faces a number of charges after a car on Pook Rd. east of Blenheim raised the suspicion of a police officer.
The officer stopped the car and discovered it was stolen from a Sheldrick St. address and that the driver had jewelry and identification from the vehicle as well as marijuana.
She has been charged with theft of a motor vehicle, possession of property obtained by crime, breach of probation and drug possession.
She was released after a bail hearing pending a future court date.
