Chatham is one of the top ten communities remaining in the Kraft Hockeyville Contest.
Community members have nominated Chatham's Memorial Arena to go up against other community rinks like the Middleton Arena in Middleton, NS, and the R.J. Lalonde Arena in Bonneyville, Alberta.
The overall winner will see $100,000 in arena upgrades, and the opportunity to host an NHL preseason game, while the runner up still gets the money for upgrades. The remaining communities get $25,000 in arena refurbishments.
The first round of online voting will run March 21-23. From there, the top two communities will face off for the chance to win the grand prize.
