(BlackburnNews.com file photo)A 42-year-old Tilbury man who suffered life-threatening injuries in a snowmobile crash is now in stable condition.
Police say the man remains in a London hospital, but his condition has been upgraded from serious to stable.
Investigators say the man was operating a snowmobile in a farmer's field on Sloan Rd. east of Tilbury Sunday afternoon when the vehicle went airborne.
The crash is still under investigation.
Alan Smith will begin his new role with the municipality on July 20.
