Police have identified the man killed in an accident that saw him pinned between a rail car and a tractor in Lakeshore.
The Ontario Provincial Police says 39-year-old Shane Knapp of Windsor was pronounced dead at the scene of a workplace accident on Friday around 2pm.
Police say Knapp was trying to move the rail car on a spur line in the 400-block of Elmstead Rd. when he was pinned.
Because the incident occurred at a business, the Ministry of Labour has been contacted and will be conducting an investigation into Knapp's death.
