Police seized a crossbow and a pellet gun as well as marijuana, methamphetamine and several morphine based drugs.
They also seized a set of digital scales and some cash.
The man being held in custody faces several drug and weapons charges. The others are charged with possession of a controlled substance.
Alan Smith will begin his new role with the municipality on July 20.
