Chatham-Kent would consider teaming up with neighbouring municipalities, including Windsor, to try and attract business.
Recently, Sarnia's Mayor speculated on a team approach after the Sarnia and London chambers of commerce agreed to a partnership.
"We have not been approached but have talked about it internally and looking at a regional approach there could be some cost savings," says Chatham-Kent's Deputy Director of Economic Development Stuart McFadden. "When you can showcase your community and draw on the strengths of the region, I think that's a benefit."
McFadden says a regional approach might help expand the reach of each area when trying to attract companies from overseas.
