Impaired Driver Visits Beer Store

A Chatham man faces charges after a complaint made by a local Beer Store.

The Chatham-Kent Police Service says they received a complaint about an impaired driver leaving the Richmond Ave. Beer Store. After a short pursuit police stopped the vehicle and arrested the driver.

A 48-year-old man is now charged with impaired driving, refusing a breath test and flight from police. He was held until sober and has been released with a future court date.
