The Dresden Kings won their second overtime game in their series against Lakeshore to tie the first round Jr. C matchup at two games apiece.
Forward Taylor Sisson capitalized on a Canadiens giveaway 2:29 into the extra frame to reach the 5-4 final.
Sisson says he was in the right place at the right time. "Buddy was in the corner, two guys went down on him. I saw the slot open up so I just went to slot, opened up. The puck came to me and I put it in low corner."
Lakeshore coach Robb Serviss reflects on giving up leads in back-to-back games. "We got running in the second period and let them back into the game. We showed a strong third period and then a mistake in overtime, so it's lights out."
Game 5 goes in Lakeshore on Friday.
