Police say armed suspects forced their way into a residence early this morning, assaulted the male homeowner, and left with an undisclosed amount of cash and jewelry.
The homeowner was taken to the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance where he was treated for his injuries and later released.
Anyone with information is asked to contact police or Crime Stoppers.
