The Great Lakes Junior C prospects blanked the Southern Ontario Junior Hockey League 4-0 last night in Lakeshore.
Brook Daugherty of the Wallaceburg Lakers had a goal and two assists, while Ross Krieger and Derek Shaw of the Dresden Kings added goals. Teddy McGeen of the Blenheim Blades also scored.
Noah Hedrick and Colin Lauzon of the Essex 73's and John Jeffries of the Lakeshore Canadiens combined on the shutout.
The game featured the best 16 and 17 year olds in the Great Lakes Junior C Hockey League.
