2016 Trial Date Set In Paquette Case

A trial date for the man and woman charged in the murder of Sarnia school teacher Noelle Paquette has been set for the spring of 2016.

The date was set during a brief hearing in the Superior Court of Justice in Sarnia Friday morning.

Three to four months are set aside for the trial of 20-year-old Michael MacGregor and 32-year-old Tanya Bogdanovic beginning April 4, 2016.

A defence application for a change of venue is to be considered at a hearing April 7 of next year.

MacGregor and Bogdanovich are each charged with first degree murder in the death of the 27-year-old Paquette.

Her body was found in a woodlot off Mandaumin Rd. January 2, 2013.
