Two Forged Cheque Arrests

Chatham-Kent police saw two separate forged document incidents at the Money Mart on Queen St.

On Saturday around 10:30am, police received a call about a forged cheque showing up at the location. When police arrived on scene, multiple officers had to restrain one of the patrons who became combative.

At around 12pm police got a call from the same location for a similar situation.

Now two men, aged 20 and 37, have been charged with uttering a forged document. The 20-year-old also faces a charge of resisting arrest, and has been held for bail.
